Something to keep in mind about political matters, family matters, marriage matters, church matters, relationship matters, work matters and world matters, is that everyone has their own opinion about what they think on how to address these matters, but what does God say about the matter?  God's Word addresses every matter we experience in this life and we may not always like what God says, but His Word is true, His Word is light, His Word is life!  "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof is death." (Proverbs 14:12)  The only hope for life is in the Word of God.

 

Many Jews were offended, turned back and no longer followed Jesus after hearing his teaching in the synagogue at Capernum, because they did not believe that Jesus was from Heaven, when Jesus said "I am the living bread that comes down from heaven, if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever, this bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world." (John 6:48-51)  Many of the Jews said this is a hard teaching and were offended because they thought that Christ was teaching about cannibalism because their understanding was darkened to the light of the truth, so many will be offended at what the Word of God (Bible) says about same-sex marriage and homosexuality, but God will not change is His Word, he is the same yesterday, today and forever. God means what he says, "heaven and earth shall pass away, but my Word shall NOT pass away." (Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31 & Luke 21:33)
