Dealing with things and people in this life, i.e., bosses, co-workers, friends, kids, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, mothers, fathers, husbands/wives, church folks, etc., can be very challenging.Relationships can be strained, damaged and/or destroyed, and Joseph the eleventh son of Jacob, certainly understood the challenges of relationships.Joseph faced many difficult trials and every time he turned around, something was going wrong, somebody was doing something to him. Joseph went through his coat being stripped away, he was thrown in a pit, being sold into slavery by his own brothers (betrayal & hatred), isolated from his family, he was seduced by the king's wife then she falsely accused him of rape when he rejected her advances, Joseph was unjustly thrown in prison, Joseph even helped the king's cup bearer in prison through interpreting a dream and Joseph asked the cup bearer to remember to mention him to Pharaoh, but he forgot about Joseph. But Joseph trusted in the Lord whatever circumstances he was in, he didn't waiver in his faith or complain, he didn't have a pity party, he just went through it and because of his faith and stewardship, God delivered him out of the pit and placed him in the palace.Have you ever felt that way - when everybody is on your case, either saying stuff or doing stuff to you.
Lifes issues can be overwhelming - your job is falling apart, your marriage is falling apart, your kids are falling apart, your friends disappeared, your bills are long and your money is short, your health is detoriating, every direction there are issues and it feels like your whole life is spinning out of control and crushed to pieces and that you're all alone and no one cares about you or is even thinking about you, you've prayed and prayed and even God seems far away or silent to your plight. On the inside you feel hurt, depressed, angry, disappointed and distraught by life's circumstances, in addition to everything that's going on, there is no word of encouragement in sight, and any communication you receive is all bad news.Well I have good news for you! God has not forgotten you! Just as God remembered Joseph, he will remember you! He is the same in Jospeh's day and he's the same today!
God loves you and cares very much about you (I Peter 5:7). He is concerned about your life (Psalm 138:8) and wants the very best for you. God will right every wrong in your life, he will turn everything around for your good (Romans 8:28). All you have to do is believe and trust that God will bring you out victorously. The victory has already been obtained, just lay hold of it.Be determined to stand on the Word no matter what your circumstances dictate. The message in your circumstances says that God is a liar, but His Word says, God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19), so what are you going to believe, your circumstances or the Word of God?
God has a plan for your life (Jeremiah29:11), and it's not in His plan to harm you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), God doesn't form anything against you to hurt you because he loves you and desires relationship with you. The battle is not yours it's the Lords, but you do need to fight for your faith (I Timothy 6:12), because that's what the enemy is out to destroy. You are an overcomer and more than a conqueror! (I John 5:4 & Romans 8:37).

Be encouraged my friends.
