THE LIFE OF GOD'S WORD

​We believe that God’s Word has the final authority in the believer’s life, by boldly defending and declaring the Word of God. 

​ 

• Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)

​ 

• For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone that believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.  For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed - a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: the righteous shall live by faith. (Romans :16-17)

​ 

• And the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7)

 

LOVE, HONOR & RESPECT

​We believe that we should love, honor and respect the Lord, our elders, leaders, family members, husbands, wives and one another.

​

• Hear O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.  You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your might. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5)

​

• Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king. (I Peter 2:17)

​

• Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourself. (Philippians 2:3)

​

• Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God.  I am the Lord. (Leviticus 19:32)

​

• However, each one of you must also love your wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. (Ephesians 5:33)

​

• Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord, and who admonish you. (I Thessalonians 5:12)

​

• Each of you must respect his mother and father, and you must observe my sabbaths.  I am the Lord your God. (Leviticus 19:3)

KINGDOM BUILDING & STRENGTHENING

​We are committed to building up the Body of Christ and equipping people for Kingdom work.

​

• So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body may be built up, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.  (Ephesians 4:11-14)

• Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as in fact you are doing. (I Thessalonians 5:11)

​FAITH & PRAYER
We believe that prayer builds intimacy with God and that faith pleases God.  We are committed to being a people of prayer, worship and faith.

​

• In all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. (Matthew 21:22)

​

• Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.  The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16)

​

• And he spake a parable unto them this end, that men ought always pray, and not to faint; (Luke 18:1)

​

• But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

• Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. (James 2:17)
