• Bible teaching at New Breath of Life is to teach Biblical truth to enable believers to live a victorious life of freedom in Christ.

• Bible teaching at New Breath of Life is to change and transform lives, not to fill our heads to become puffed up in spiritual pride.

• Bible teaching at New Breath of Life is to become grounded in faith, no longer being infants tossed to and fro by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.  To instill sound doctrine to protect against false apostles, prophets and teachers who change and pervert the gospel message.

• Bible teaching at New Breath of Life is to teach biblical love properly defined by the scriptures.  Biblical love is not about being nice all the time, burying our differences and never constructively criticizing or opposing anyone, if that is the case then Jesus, John the Baptist, Paul, other disciples and prophets warnings of judgment and destruction were not motivated by love which is not the truth.

• The Greek word for “teach” is didaskalos, which means “to instruct.” We see examples all through the Bible of teaching. Jesus Himself was the Great Teacher, and Jesus commanded His disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19–20). Jesus commanded His disciples to teach new disciples everything He had commanded, instructing them in both doctrine and holy living. Christ’s ministers are not to teach the commandments of men or anything that is of their own or other men’s devising, but only that which is ordered by Christ.
