All mankind is born in sin.  We are born guilty, born with an unregenerate nature, sentenced with the death penalty.  The wages of sin is death and for us to be restored and redeemed to life (eternal), someone needed to pay our sin debt to overturn the death penalty and give us life.  God's redepmtion plan for man is that His son Jesus Christ died (old man) on the cross and shed His precious blood for the remission of our sins and was resurrected (new man) from the dead that we may have eternal life.  Romans 10:9 & 10 says, "that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved.  For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

No one can ride off someone else's salvation, we all need our own personal relationship with Christ, therefore, salvation is NOT obtained by:

​

1.  a relative or friend that has a relationship with Christ;

2.  attending and participating in church and/or

3.  being a morally good person, etc.

​

So here's how you biblically connect to Christ according to Romans 10:9 & 10, any other doctrines of salvation not mentioned in scripture is deceptive and delusional if believed and practiced. ​ "Jesus is THE WAY, THE TRUTH & THE LIFE, no man cometh to the Father (God) except by me (Jesus Christ)." (John 14:6)

 

01  Confess With Your Mouth the Lord Jesus​

​You must make a public or open confession that Jesus is Lord and Savior, this can be done before the Church.​  This is not lipservice to Christ, but a sincere confession that you are completely sold out to Christ.

 

02   Believe in Your Heart that God raised Him (Jesus Christ) from the dead 

Whatever is in your heart, will come out of your mouth, so believing in your heart is connected to confession.​  The Bible says "out of he abundance of your heart, the mouth speaketh." (Luke 6:45)  God sent His only begotten son to die on the cross for our sins  and was resurrected from the dead for our eternal life.  "He that believeth on me as the scriptures hath said, out of his belly shall  flow rivers of living water." (John 7.38).  Come and drink from the fountain of life, God wants to give you a new life, let Jesus  quench your thirst and you will never thirst again!

03  Thou shall be saved

When you confess and believe, the process of a new life in Christ starts at that very moment, you pass from death to life, you     transfer from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light.​  A metamorphasis begins and you start to become more and more like Christ, the desires, attitudes, behaviors and things of the old man will start passing away and the characteristics of the new man will start to come forth.  "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away and behold, all things are become new." (2 Thessalonians 5:17)  If your conversion is TRUE, then you will experience a NEW LIFE IN CHRIST!  If your conversion is FALSE, then you will not experience a new life, the old man will continue to rule and dominate your life.
